With the petrol running in the blood of the Lee Family, it is no surprise that, Josh, the youngest in the family, started karting at a much younger age (six). He secured his first podium finish in his first race at Singapore Karting Championship 2011. Despite making his debut season and being the youngest driver in the cadet category, he fought hard with the older boys and achieved 3rd overall in SKC 2011.

Q. What makes you a winner?
I’m confident and a tough fighter, who never gives up until I cross the finish line.
Q. You are very young as a driver. Were you ever afraid?
Initially when I first started driving the go-kart, the loud noise makes me quite nervous. After awhile, I got used to it.

My elder brother Jon always gives me good advice and we will always share our experiences and encounters on the track. In addition, I have two good coaches, my dad and Uncle Rick, who is my mechanic.

I will try my best in this year’s Singapore Karting Championship and hope to stand on the podium for every race.
